HR Specialist for GY

The HR Specialist role is for someone who can soon assume a senior role and be responsible for instituting and maintaining the HR system set up, responding to the needs of the GY LOBs, and delivering HR services.
MAJOR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responds and addresses all possible concerns and communications sent HR’s way from the GY business units and departments
  • Coordinates the interview and exam schedules for business units in the US
  • Recruits, interviews, manages job ad channels, assesses candidates, endorses candidates, administers tests, manages candidate trackers, draft/reviews job descriptions, does job offers
  • Escalates issues to the HR team and/or top management for a more proper resolution/management of HR concerns and items
  • Responds to employment queries
  • Bridges management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Informs, responds, and/or advises on company policies and procedures and monitors compliance
  • Adheres to HR processes and properly implements them
  • Conducts onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Do whatever it takes to get the job done!

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferably, 2 years of work experience as an HR Specialist and ready to take on a senior role in a span of 3-6 months
  • Familiarity and exposure to different HR functions and a working knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws covering compensation, benefits, and employee relations
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
